Pangkor Island is renowned for its stunning beaches along the western coastline, featuring crystal-clear waters and pristine, almost white sand. These beaches are among the island’s main attractions, offering visitors a perfect tropical escape.

Pasir Bogak Beach

Pasir Bogak, the first-developed beach on the island, remains the most popular. Its crescent-shaped shoreline, lined with white sand and shaded by lush trees, provides idyllic picnic spots. While suitable for swimming, the beach can become crowded during holidays. Pasir Bogak also offers facilities for various water activities, including boating, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and rafting.

Teluk Nipah Beach

Teluk Nipah is the liveliest and most vibrant area on Pangkor Island. Its snow-white sandy beach and clear blue waters make it a favorite gathering spot for visitors. Popular activities here include swimming, snorkeling, diving, water skiing, and picnicking. The area is also perfect for sunbathing, enjoying water sports, and witnessing the spectacular hornbill feeding at sunset. Visitors can end their day with a delicious dinner of Ikan Bakar (grilled fish) at one of the local eateries.

Beyond its beaches, Pangkor Island boasts a variety of historical and religious sites. Notable attractions include the Dutch Fort (Kota Belanda), the Sacred Rock (also known as Tiger Rock), the Floating Mosque, Masjid Sungai Pinang Kecil, Fu Lin Kong Temple, Sri Pathirakaliamman Temple, and Lin Je Kong Temple.
